History: Born and raised in Onekama, most of Hilja's life revolved around the ocean. In childhood she could often be found helping out around her father's boat, as well as running errands around the docks. While her father was out at sea, Hilja would draw pictures to record her days, the two going over them together when he returned. Other than her father, she only had contact with the other fishermen and shopkeepers. Mostly, she kept to herself.

As she grew older, Hilja was given more work on the boat, training to fish for a living. At 15, she went out to sea for the first time.

The rolling waves, the endless stretch of water and sky, and the wild cloud formations were what really inspired her. Not fishing. Hilja used every spare moment she could to work on her art. She often slacked on her work, much to her father's irritation. As years passed, and her art grew in quality, she started gaining a following around the docks, even managing to sell a few pieces. Seeing she could make money on her work, she started spending even more time on her art, completely ditching her fishing duties.

This did not go over well with her father. After an intense argument, Hilja gathered her things and hopped on the first ship she found. Arriving in Ethovalon, she stumbled across the GCSF. Does she really care about their mission? No. But the beautiful, exclusive locations she can visit? For her art, that's what matters. Throwing her name down to join the first team she sees, Sunlit Feathers gains a new member.
