Description
Started out as a self-portrait/attempt to draw my new shoes for school with flare jeans and a sweatshirt in a sitting position. It turned into this angel in the grass. She has some message for everyone I'm sure, you just need to look long enough to find it.

Personal critique: The shoes look a little funny, but then again this was an exercise in drawing shoes. I had some difficulty in getting the psition of the body correct and the hands cross over each other. The sweator doesn't look too bad, the jeans are a little stream-lined, but so are my jeans. The hair turned out okay, I like the eyes, and the rest of the face works okay. Hands look a bit styilized, but I think the style works with the drawing. Shoes look my new shoes. Perhaps will explore this character more later.
