Whoa. Nice job with the details of the web-like body of the Venom parasite overcoming the victim's body. I bet I would suck majorly if I tried to do this myself.

Since you're a graphic designer by trade, may I ask where you went to school? I'm looking to return for some sort of art degree and right now I'm open to all possibilities.
David Tennant is awesome - I only wish that the stateside release of Doctor Who DVDs was less expensive. "Spooks" too.

Yeah it's pretty cool designing merch but they never go with the best ideas which bums me out. There is some wicked Spidey stuff been designed. Probably never get made...
If you see anyone wearing those Borat swim suits though, then they came from us! Doing Shrek 3 aat the moment. Sweet.
Anyway.. I went to some crappy collage in Salisbury, England (by no means the best in UK) and graduated 1997. but the job of choice really comes from opportunity. I suggest that you go anywhere in order to get your qualification (doesn't matter if it's a good collage, work experience is more important than collage), and then work at getting into the places which are cool once you have left. The complany I work for is small and all they did was advertise in the Design Week mag.. I applied and now I been there for nearly 3 years! Lucky really. My next ideal job is to work designing movie posters, style guides and DVDs so I hope to move to that area soon.
I hope you get into a cool school for graphics and continue doing what you are doing. Your drawing skills are awesome!

My best friend had been telling me to ask whether it's a matter of where you went to school vs. job experiences/portfolio talent in the graphic arts/design industry. I'm aiming for a Dec. 1 deadline this year for submitting my portfolio (15-35 pieces) to the school I hope will accept me; if not, then the backup plan is to get into my much cheaper second choice. 👍: 0 ⏩: 0
