Pedro Garcia Lopez, also known by his nickname "Jet Li Española", is one of the most well regarded detectives in all of Mexico. This is mostl ikely due to his background as a martial artist with impressive skills, hence why his nickname was made after actor Jet Li by people. Before he became a well known detective, he was trained in Kung Fu in Hong Kong by Wou Ling Gaou, grandson of the legendary Xian Gaou for 7 years when he was only 14 years old.

After his tranining was done, he moved back to his native hometown in Mexico, where he discovered that the whole town he grew up with is now infested with corruption and crime, which were ordered by the drug lord Juan Dores, who was working for the original NESTS at the time. As a result, his younger sister was kidnapped and became a subject for Project Anti-K', which he never finds out about it as she dies from the experiment not long after she was brought to the lab, so he still believes the falcons abducted her.

In order to restore his hometown back into what it was, he decided to become an investigator and expose the crimes of numerous goons of the drug cartel. This eventually won the people over once he shows the defeated goons and drugs to them. His heroism earned him the job to become detective, which he was able to solve crimes all over Mexico and becoming one of the most well known figures of the country, practically on the same level as El Santo. In October 2003, he officialy entered the worldwide tournament to uncover the corruption of the organizer's owner, Kahua Nui, the self-proclaimed champion who announced the competition in the first place. While he never get to investigate, probably due to his defeat by Ciro, he did gained information from him and John after Kahua's supposed death, and with that, he considers this case solved.

In 2007, he once again investigates the corruption of the third worldwide tournament, though he didn't partecipate it unlike last time. There, he was able to get information about the organizer Nekron and his plans to brainwash the champion to become a killing machine, though he didn't get the full story once his minion saw what he was doing. Once the tournament was over, he interviewed both Ciro and John and asked some questions about Nekron's full motives. A full year later, he compiled alot of evidence in his office and pieces this info on who exactly Nekron was.
