Charles Xavier always did things for a reason. You doubted this extremely when he paired you, Remy and Logan together to do a small retrival mission.

The thing was, both cajun and Canadian had a crush on you, hence, they fought every chance they saw eachother. This included behind you in the hull of the plane.

"Mine." You tuned in to hear Remy's accent, demanding something. Most likely; you.

"Hell no." the Wolverine snorted.

"Whaddya mean, 'Hell no?' Chere. Is. Mine."

"Like she'd love a runt like you."

You winced at the harsh comment, you hated the inevitable times when the argument spiked and one of the men were forced into a hurt silence. You turned your head so your glance balanced between the windsheild and the two snarling X-men.

"Yo, stop tearing eachother's throats out and get ready to land." You order. The two became slient and prepared as told.

You landed skillfully and opened the door, allowing the two mutants to shove eachother out. You sigh, slipping off the pilot's headset and following them. You really didn't like the fact they fought over you - and did a horrible job at trying to hide it. You loved both of them, and would never be able to choose.

You squeeze yourself in the middle of them and begin to recap the mission - retrieve the mutant that sent out a distress call and bring them back to the mansion. They both nod and you tell them to split up.

Soon, you were alone. You strode through the forest casually and breathed in the fresh air. You liked the two boys that always fought over you, you even went as far as calling it flattering, but alone time without the constant bickering was blissful and stress relieving.

The enjoyment only lasted a few moments, for you heard a sound from behind you. You whip around to see a shadow move behind a tree. You roll your eyes at the petty attempt of concealment and stepped over some roots to make your way over to the tree. You poke your head around to find.... nothing.

There was nothing. You looked around in confusion, heart slowly starting to increas its BPM. You shake your head with a soft smile and tell yourself you're only seeing things. With that, you continue on your way.

Until you stumble on a rebel camp.

Magneto's group would've been fine to run into, he didn't care if one of Xaviers students were seen as long as they made no trouble. Mutants stick together.

But no. You just happened to find one of the biggest atni-mutant rebel camps in America. You gasp and leap back into the nearest cover, which just happened to be a large tree. You stand there, trying to control your respitory system. You look to the side to see three guards glaring at you.

"Mutie." One of them growled. Your eyes dilated in fear and soon your sprinting away, adrenaline giving you a needed boost. Soon, you see a flash of Remy's trenchcoat and you veered toward it, barraling into him.

"Woa-!" He grunted as your momentum sent him and you to the forest floor. "Chere? What are you doing? Are you okay?"

"No, no I am not okay there are anti-mutant rebels on my tail ad we need to fing Logan and go." You talked so fast you don't think he even understood your terror, but he nodded and helped you up.

It wasn't hard to find Logan, he only yards away from the jet when you and Remy reached him. The cajun glared at him.

"Did you even move?"

"Someone has to guard the jet from those rebels." He said evenly. Remy grit his teeth.

"You knew there were anti-mutant rebels, yet you didn't tell us?!"

Logan rolled his eyes. "I didn't know they were here. I saw them and came back to wait for you."

You look behind impatently to see a squadren speeding toward you. "Guys..?"

The two men ignore you and keep biting at eachother's throats. "I can't tell the damn future! If I did I wouldn't have even let you land the blackbird!"

"You just want to get rid of me, don't you?"

"Well, to say no would be a lie."

"Guys!" You say louder, desperate to get them to stop fighting and notice the dozens of rebels coming your way.

"You're sick!" Remy snarled.

"You're an imbicile! What's your point?" the wolverine retorted.

"You keep hooking up with different girls to forget the last one that either left you or died! You never learn to let go!" Remy yelled, Logan growled lowly.

"You take that back."

Remy only laughed sharply.

"GUYS!" You scream, stepping in between the two. "There are rebels coming who don't give a shit about your love life!"

Both of them stop and look down at your small figure, seeing you for the first time. You were worn out, tired from trying to get them to stop bickering. Your eyes were heavy and had bags lining them, your normally soft hair frazzeled from you running your hands through it. You were shaking and about to break down in tears.

"Oh shit." Logan sighed. "You get behind m- us."

Remy looked at Logan for a split second them back to you. "You need to rest. Get in the bird, I- ... We'll be back."

You gaze at both of them, fear evidant on your face. Both put one hand on your shoulders and assure you that it would be alright. You slump, surprass a sob and trudge into the jet.

Logan and Remy lock eyes, then nod in alliance. Time seemed to slow down as Remy pulls a dozen cards from his pocket, charges them and throws them to the rebels. The weapons land at their feet, sending up debris and dust, clouding the enemy's vision.

Logan's world slowed too as his claws slide out and he begins to sprint to the squadren. He looks to the side to see the cajun sprinting beside him, grinning in wild anicipation, weilding his staff. Logan looks back and is soon locked in combat.

You watch in fearful awe as the two X-men fight side by side, in perfect harmony. The perfect duo.

And you fell in love with both of them.

When the Wolverine and Gambit finished with the squadren, they stood panting for a moment before running back to the bird. As soon as they climbed in, you embrace both of them, earning looks of surprise.

"I love both of you." You mutter into the chests of the two men. "I really freaking do."

Logan smirks at Remy, who returns the expression before both wrap their arms around you, eveloping all of you in a group hug. You relish the warmth and security before the hug breaks apart and you all head back to the mansion, laughing and joking the entire time.

This was so much better than fighting.
