Description
This trio of artworks are based on a character I came up with. I call it the "Plague Harvester". It's wearing a plague doctor's mask which was common around the time of the Black Death and it has blood red-colourations on its sickly-looking body. I imagine it to be the nightmarish steed that pulls the cart piled high with the body of plague victims, hence the chains and saddle.

One thing I like about this particular piece is blood-smears on the floor. In hindsight, I haven't drawn anything this dark and scary in a while. Also, I don't think I do interiors that often either, so this work is well-needed practice.
