I don't know how to make tutorials properly, but I can share my knowledge my technique. First of all, when it comes to animal noses on the face use the facial marking tool to make the nose (usually I use the water drop facemark, the one that is completely outlined and re-scale it to be a triangle then rotate it upside-down and animal nose, now just place it on top of character's nose and there you go.)
As for the ears, well go to the tool where you can edit your character's eyebrows and nose, you'll find that you can also change your characters ears, some of are animal ears, try scaling and placing with ears part, you'll get used to it, I did.
As for fur pattern on the face, just use the face mark tool. REMEMBER, MAKE SURE YOUR ANIMAL NOSE IS FACE MARK #1 OR A NUMBER THAT WON'T GET OVERLAPPED BY YOUR OTHER FACE MARKINGS. KEEP THAT IN MIND.
As for fur, use the tanning tool, but be careful some bodily features can sometimes be linked to your character's skin color, make sure you unlink them.
