Hello, I am the owner of #StarWars4Ever and I've seen you have entered our competition/contest, but this art is not suitable, first, it's not made for the contest, second it doesn't have a background, so if you are willing to edit it and upload it and comment it's for the contest it's still gonna be in

What do you mean by making for the contest?

I can see she's deft with a light sabre. Absolutely terrific image, excellent glow and lighting.

Beautiful!
A wide angled spotlight right behind the middle or so of the glowing saber shaft pointing at her navel (?) of the same color as the saber would give it more presence because the viewer would expect it given the intense glow cue on the saber. You may need more than one to simulate the light from the entire saber, e.g. one near the tip, one in the middle, and one at the base of the shaft. It would complement the great lighting and dark background you already have.

My Aayla is stll better than your girls rendered in Daz Studio. Vray for 3ds max is a very powerful thing. I advise you to use 3ds max too. As for the lighting, I ddin't use any spotlights. I used two Vray lights. Maybe the picture is a bit too dark but still very contrast.

DAZ Studio definitely has limitations, no question about that. The lighting on your figure is excellent. Actually, my comment was limited to the absence of illumination from the obviously glowing sword, not the general lighting of the scene.
