Description EDIT #2:
Err, wow, first stamp I make, and it gets, err, this: [link] Cool!

EDIT: Gah, I completely forgot to give credit to the creator of the font! x_X Pokémon GB font [link] made by

also, for all non-subscribed such as myself, here's an appropriate FAKE STAMP:

(also is animated to be a bit faster)

Glitch types are my favs!
Back in the days when I played Pokémon, I did a lot of 'research' on Missingno. and the likes of it.

It felt exciting, knowing that this wasn't supposed to be there, and I might even discover something new

In the blue edition, (the one for the original Game Boy color, not DS or Advance or whatever that remake was made for)
I actually even ended up figuring out that you could, proper timing and luck required, access the 'trade center' with three Game Boys simulanously, leading to cross-over-trades resulting in even more glitchy Pokémon.

Even got one with a "special ability", if placed in the first position, the whole team-list would become invisible.
Err... that ment: this glitch-Pokémon - let me dub it "null" - was usually there to represent the "end" of the team-list.
Due to it's special meaning for the listing-system of the game, it would be possible to perform - as dumb as this may sound - "soul switches", when placing it in a specific position in BILL'S PC... so bascially, you put in a Pikachu, a Charizard, and the "end-of-list"-representing "null"
...and suddenly your Pikachu would turn into a Charizard (attacks and stats remaining the same), Charizard into another "end-of-list"-glitch-Pokémon, and the end of list pokémon would remain the same.

Of course you can get the same Pokémon much easier when using a cheat device, just use a code to change the amount of Pokémon in your team-list to 7, there you have the "end-of-teamlist"-representant.

ah yeah, the good ol' days.

that was false information given out by Nintendo, u don't need to restart your game to fix it ^^

Regardless, it's still risky to use missingno. I'd rather not risk all of my hard work catching a pokemon
that technically doesn't exist.

Actually, I know about the glitch Pokemon you're talking about in the description (if you're talking about it in Pokemon Yellow, atleast) that can change one Pokemon into another and keeping the stats of the other Pokemon on the Pokemon you want it to be on (wow that's kind of confusing; to clarify that it means that you can basically change something like Magikarp to have the stats and moves of Mewtwo). The glitch Pokemon you need to get it is called 44HY and to get 44HY, you need a Pokemon with the special stat of 192, do the long-range-trainer glitch, fight a different trainer, fight the Ditto and all that good stuff, walk up on the route you did the long-range-trainer glitch and you get 44HY (well I just explained how to get like ever glitch Pokemon in the history of forever). 44HY is like the only glitch Pokemon that evolves at a conceivably normal level (others evolve but at close to levels like 120, 154, etc.); at level 9 it evolves into a Pokemon called Q with the nickname TM55. If you do the Q glitch ([link] ) you can change a Pokemon into another Pokemon (also explained in the video). Unfortunately, the new Pokemon can not be sent to Gold and Silver because it will get caught in the error trap. Also, the Pokemon that you used, lets say you changed a Pikachu into a Pikachu with Lapras stats. The Lapras will become another Q, so if you use this glitch too much you might have an over-abunbance of Q's.

//sets this down here and walks away---//

Probably not, the only glitch Pokemon I know of in Gen 5 is Bad EGG.

...yeah, that's what I was talking about too.

Back in the day, playing "blue" for the Game Boy Color, I frequently surfed up and down the coast of Cinnibar Island to encounter Missingno. and "multiplied" my sixth item.
I live in Germany, Germany is in Europe, ergo this works in European versions of the game.

Love the stamp.

Yeah, I 'researched' MissingNo a lot as well, similar to what you did. I actually encounter a lot of minor errors or glitches in my Pokemon games, but I doubt it means anything. Like, in Ruby once, when I selected a party Pokemon in my PC, the little blue background before it remained, making it look distorted. Another time in PMD, I was facing a boss, and used up all of my Revival Seeds. Naturally, they turned into Plain Seeds. But when I fainted for the last time (it was one of those dungeons where if you faint you end up back outside the dungeon, earlier in the game.), my whole inventory was Plain Seeds. I basically said, "F*** this!" and rebooted my DS.
But despite my efforts, MissingNo has never appeared to me.

Woot, first meaningful comment on one of your pieces!
