Hey everyone.

I started work on this OC pony back in March. I more or less finished her design and was almost ready to upload it back then. However real life stepped in and I had to put it off until now. Oh well here she is.

Alright then, here we have a pegasus mare named Ion. Now then she is an odd pegasus as she is less interested in flying as she is science. Some ponies say she is really unicorn in a pegasi body. She was a student in Canterlot until she joined the Weather Team in Ponyville where she is currently. She occasionally assists Twilight Sparkle in some of her scientific experiments. Her dream is become a teacher at Canterlot University.

She is also the younger sister of my other OC Ulysses (Hence why she is from Canterlot). They fight a lot (As siblings always do), but they do care for each other. Ion recently has been feeling down, following the wedding of Shining Armor. As a younger filly she had a crush on Shining Armor when Ulysses and he were training to be Royal Guards. She had since got over it, but the wedding brought back old feelings. Even so she knows it is all a little silly.

Her design went through a few revisions. To start with I gave her shorter hair and a more spiky tail, but since then I thought she looked better with the long mane. When drawing her tail I found that I couldn't get a spiky tail to look right, and so I changed it and added a tail band at the bottom (Given to her by her brother). The hair colour started blue, but then I changed to to be red. Then I changed it again to be a more pinky red, with the blue streaks. I also gave her a hair clip with the same design as her cutie mark (Which is an atomic symbol with a heart in the middle).

Her body colour was simple enough to get right. It started a bit more yellow, but then I gradually made it more goldish. Not much more to say other than that.
