I stayed up way too late yesterday painting a new design for Rann. This is not the painting, but since I dont have the file at school, I spent my time getting familiar with the new mouth.

I think he doesn't move his lips when he speaks, but rather just opens his mouth slightly and the voice rings straight from his throat. The mandibles might move side to side to adjust the echo?

(amusingly Anemon was supposed to be the prettiest leader but I feel like rendered!Rann is prettier than rendered!Anemon. perhaps the segmented jaw subtracts enough prettypoints to justify this claim.
