I love how you did the rays of light and the disruption of the water around the anchor! The pose of the seal and the choice of colors is beautiful.

The colours here are pure awesomeness! So much contrast, I can't take my eyes of it...the different shades of blue are wonderful to look at and I like the elegant body of the seal...and the way the anchor falls into the water excellent effect.

Well, detailed backgrounds aren't something that pop up frequently in my work. They're not my strong point but I have been practicing with them recently. I've also been exploring further into ideas and bringing my work to a finished end point.
