If "Iris" convinces Pikachu who "she" really is, maybe Pikachu could stay in "her" hair like Axew did with the former Iris
The awkwardness of both of them telling Ash's mom would be great as well! The new Ash saying "I'm not your son, ...she is." pointing to his former body as the new Iris nervously says hi.
Plus the new Iris wouldn't have Kanto gym badges, so she could get all those (again) Plus this time, she'll be welcomed into the all female plant gym in Celedon
