Description
The Hunt of the Faerie Dragon in English. I'm not sure why I titled this in French, it just felt right.This took a week, I'm not sure how many hours. All done in Photoshop
Please fullview, there's a lot of detail in there.

Beautifully done!
I like the concept, especially the knights riding dragonflies, it gives a hint to the scale of the whole scene and sets the background in perspective.
The details on the armour of the knights are well done... you thought of everything, even the colour of their cloaks being reflected.
The fast motion of the dragonflies is shown very well by their blurred wings. On the foremost one I would have wished for a bit more detail though...taking a look at photos of dragonflies I saw that most of them had smooth shells with individual hairs on them.
I like the dragonΒ΄s pose, he looks rather defensive. The scratches on the branch are a nice touch... as is making your signature look like it was carved into it as well.
The transition between neck and body looks a little weird, like there is a switch in perspective. The details on the scales are nice, especially on the paws. The ones on the shoulder could do with a little more shadow, they look a little too flat the way they are now. The wings are perfect.
