Description
Steven removes his hand from the cracked gem as healing light envelopes it’s form. When the light fades a half gem half beast lays before him.
“She sure looks like a quartz!” Steven smiles looking back at the gems. They remind him to be careful.
“It’s Jasperrr.” Jasper gets up. “And it was here you know, where you rebels first attacked me and my sisterrrs.”
“You can talk!” Steven gasps slowly taking a step back.
“I can still hear their screams as you rebels shattered them, us bad gems, gems who you condemned before we even knew what the light was.” Jasper growls at him.
“No the Crystal Gems would never shatter gems. All life is precious!” Steven trips and falls to the ground.
“Is that what they told you?” Jasper laughs. “Then Pink Diamond’s life must not have been ‘precious’ when Rose Quartz shattered her!”
“No, Mom would never, it’s not true...” Steven looks at Garnet and Pearl, their expressions told him all.
“Believe what you want!” Jasper brings her hands down to the dirt. “Because of your revolution my sisters were made off-color, the diamonds would have them broken, but I rebelled and took them with me. All the rebels care about is the weeds and the dirt!” Jasper claws something into the ground. “SHATTERRRS!”
“That’s enough!” Garnet punches Jasper away from Steven.
Jasper rolls back returning to her full gem beast self.
“Garnet stop! just leave her be…” Steven chokes out with tears running down his face.
Garnet lets Jasper go, she returns to her pack and the pack runs off, as Steven looks horrified at the etching of a diamond with a slash through it.

I almost forgot about this AU, sorry. Anyways tried a new way of coloring, and while the lines are not so pixel-ly they are grey-ish.

Thank you. Yeah, I used Centi's half healed form for reference but at the same time I needed Jasper to actually speak, so I had to make her a little more healed then Centi.
I would love to see canon Jasper with a cute fluffy tail <3
