So this is what ya get when you watch River Monsters and play Pokemon Pearl...
Anyways Palkia is like the hardest Pokemon for me to draw... I just can't get the face to look right. So watching the River Monsters guy try to catch a "Man Eating" Gouch Catfish, gave me inspiration for a more realistic look at Palkia.
Palkia is still a conformational train-wreck, but I'm happy with this. Since Palkia is a water type I figured it's "wings" would actually be more like fins, then I decided to add the fins on the tail. They would fold up when Palkia is out of the water so to give the illusion of the purple stripes on the tail. Webbed back feet, and wiskers are all there to help get around in the water.

Yeah, been in major art block plus hell at work and at home... And My art program for the computer is a totally out dated and not really useable with anything. But I gots Sharpies now so I can color again... I'm still learning. Not as good with them as you are though

Interesting and unique take on it! I like the idea of making Palkia's.... extrusions.... into fins. I may use something similar in my own works.

Thanks. I never knew Palkia was a water type until I got one... Then I figured it should have fins to help it get around in the water, even though it's the "god" of space...
