I felt like drawing something shiny and bokeh, so it's Ryfia from Arc Rise Fantasia. This RPG for the Wii doesn't have a good story, or voice-acting, or much of anything really, except for character designs that I like. XDInstead of using inked lineart, as I've usually done in the past, here I've colored the pencil lineart directly.

I'll admit it's a iffy how her hair and ribbon and skirt petals are billowing around but the rain is coming straight down on her. ^~; But it is luminous rain (vs. real watery rain) and she's probably powering up with one of her hymns. :3
Definitely try to shape her form more, especially around the waist. Also, the ribbons could be splayed out more- if you squint your eyes, you'll see they kinda just form a single pink blob shape behind her.

oh yeah, i just played that game not too long ago and totally have to agree with you.
I really like the coloring especially in the hair, though, and the rain looks very nice
