Looks like Santa-san has a couple little stowaway elves on his sleigh!!
I sketched this Christmas Eve, inked it Christmas day, but wasn't able to do any other work on it until I got my computer back yesterday. So here ya go.
Hikaru and Akira look so cute, but Hikaru's face is a little messed-up. And Akira's hair... is really shiny. It was a lot shinier before, but then I went back and made it not as shiny. But it's still shiny. And really green. There's not enough brown in there. Akira has weird hair. It's like a sloth.
Speaking of his hair, I used the anime colors. Because the manga is constantly changing around Akira's hair color and Hikaru's eye color... well, the anime changes Hikaru's eye color around a lot, too, but not nearly as often as Obata-sensei does. Haha.
Okay... oh, and their gloves? Okay, here's what happened. When Hikaru and Akira met up to go through with their little scheme, Hikaru was wearing black gloves and Akira was wearing white ones. They decided to trade their right-hand gloves with each other so that they could look like the awesome Go-freaks that they are.
Also, the white gloves didn't insulate very well and Akira's hands were getting cold.
And I did that because you can't see the go stones at the ends of Hikaru and Akira's hats. ;_;
Okay, lastly, the sleigh. By the time I got to doing the sleigh, I had gotten lazy, and that's why its shading job looks so horrible.
And that moon just amuses the heck out of me.
