Hmm ok I have to say that this pic really is different from your earlier works. Now it's clear how your style changes and I have to say that sometimes I really would like to see the older one. If you ask why then answer is simple. It was more detailed but that's my opninion.
Ok in this pic the first thing that catches your attention are eyes. And as Kite's eyes are nice, Haseo's aren't that good. To be honest it looks just like it was sticked on the face. Which is rather somthing new since usually this was one of stronger things in your pics like in .hack - Nyan? .As well as the trimming on Haseo's hat. It looks like it was a rectangle in opposition to all others which look like they are really clothes and aren't stiff. So the choice of background was good too.
So as I said I liked when your pics were in older style. I don't say that this one is bad or worse. It's just more simple, that's all. Well if you compare this to i.e. dot Hack - I will be waiting you can see this. So ok maybe I will finish this op before someone will say that I don't feel any Xmas mood or something -.-; . Hope this won't make you mad.

Uhm... when I colored HaseoΒ΄s eyes I put the layer in "multiply" and then become like this. -.- nyo~n!
