I raised a sparrow also after his parents died. He was on the ground for a few days I think before I found him. He NEVER bit me!

I had a pet sparrow too, years ago. She didn't like to be touched either, but everytime I got my hand into her cage to change her water or fill her seed plate, she'll jump right at it and start biting and pecking at my hand. Hard. The rest of the time she was a well behaved sweetie XD

No, I found her when she was little in my school without her parents (abandoned) so I brought her to my house and take care of her
