-= X-Affix: Fortune + Hecate, Arcanaffix of the Wheel of Fortune =-

- Age: 19
- Height: 5'7"
- Weight: 177 lbs
- Specie: Caprinoid angel
- Nationality: Uzbek-Samoyed
- Birthplace: Samangan, Afghanistan
- Arcana: Wheel of Fortune

Tahmina Omad was always an adventurous kid, a trait she likely gets from her caprinoid parents - her Uzbek father was a former rebel, and her Russian mother long lived a rural life as her Samoyed ancestors did. While her childhood was mostly uneventful, she often listened to her parents' stories and longed to be as brave and as strong as they were.

That day would come all too soon when she was only 11 - enemies of her father back in Uzbekistan sent an assassin after him. Tahmina was told to hide, but she could hear her parents being killed and their bodies being kicked and spat on. And unfortunately, it wasn't long before that killer located the young goat. Realizing that it was either do or die, Tahmina rushed the man, doing what she can to visit her dead parents' pain onto him. But in the skirmish, the assassin slashed out the girl's eyes. Before he could do any more to her, he could hear soldiers approaching fast. Not wanting to risk being seen, he leaves the kid be and escapes.

Those soldiers just so happened to be oracles of the Delphi sect - women that read the world's flow to see events of great influence, and also happen to be proficient in Affix-crafting. Apparently, Tahmina's act of defiance against the assassin was such an event of influence, which attracted the Delphic soldiers to her. But there were more good news to come: she apparently held potential of a great destiny, one that would determine the fate of Earth.

So, under Delphi's wing, Tahmina trained as a fighter and an oracle. Soon, she would present herself to the world as the daring changer of fate, Fortune. And what a time to show the world her stuff - an event called The Dusk has started to set in, dragging people into gladiatorial games. Might Fortune be the one to change the game?

-= SOCIAL =-
- Pros: Adventurous, daring, tenacious, sees the best in the world
- Cons: A risk-taker, often disobedient to rules, rebellious, too optimistic, doesn't take failure well
- Likes: Subverting negative fates, coin-collecting, Samoyed dogs
- Dislikes: Failure, anti-cheat lectures, eye jokes, goat jokes

-= COMBAT =-
- Skills: Kickboxing, survival skills
- Gear: Argent XIII, X-Patch
- Powers: Premonition, spin psionics
- Force: Argent XIII
- Favors misdirection and close-to-mid range combat.

Fortune's premonition powers as an oracle essentially let her foresee events that have a strong influence. However, oracles mostly can only process one most likely future outcome at a time. Skilled oracles are able to foresee more than one likely outcome at once. Fortune can usually see at least 10 outcomes at once.

-= X-PATCH =-
Pronounced "cross-patch", this eyemask Affix replaces her lost eyes by connecting to her brain through the remaining ocular nerves via psionic connections. Not only does it project a wider field of view than her eyes could (of course, her eyes were unusually extraordinary in their vision before they were struck out), but it can also provide her 360-view all around her head. It's pretty much a sensory amplifier, letting her detect and counter enemy attacks before they come at her. Of course, it's dependent on the strength of her mind's eye, which thankfully has been tempered in her training at Delphi.

-= Force: ARGENT XIII, Medallions of Destiny =-
Fortune's Affix of choice was gifted by Delphi's elder oracle. Apparently, this set of 13 silver medallions had a connection with the ancient X-Affix. The fact that they were compatible with Fortune must have meant that she's destined for greatness.

...But I digress. Argent XIII consists of a large main medallion, and 12 smaller medallions, all of them levitating around herself. The small ones can be launched outward in whichever direction Fortune chooses, and even hang in midair for a while. The large one serves as her main weapon, for psionic slash attacks, shielding, and so forth. What gives the medallions their power is Fortune's talent for spin psionics - a gravitational power based around...well, spinning, rotations, et cetera. She can generate some of this power through her own hands, and it will be redirected by the small medallions. And she doesn't need to worry about losing them, for they can be teleported to right back near the main medallion.

-= Arcanaffix: HECATE =-
Like the other heroes of X-Affix, Fortune finds herself in possession of an Arcanaffix that reaches beyond the divide of life and death, giving a new form to a deceased loved one's will. In her case, it's No. 10: Wheel of Fortune. The Arcanaffix formed from Fortune through this card is called Hecate.

Hecate takes the form of a large bell...or is it a cup? In any case, this giant cup possesses the power of redirection - it can ready a portal, and send whatever enters its bell out through that portal. However, Fortune can't shake the feeling that this lone cup isn't Hecate's true power...

-= TRIVIA =-
- Fortune's coat and bolo tie are meant to invoke the image of a cowboy type of gambler. Since Fortune is the deuteragonist, and Claire is already styled partially like a gunslinger, it only seemed fitting.
- The bolo tie pin bears the symbol of the oracles of Delphi...if you look closely enough.
- The X-Patch's single X mark glows different colors depending on her mood. Yellow means happy, red means angry, blue means sad, green means scared, purple means serious...to name a few.
- Something I realized late in...Fortune's representing Arcana, Wheel of Fortune, is no. 10. Claire's representing Arcana, Judgment, is no. 20. In Roman numerals, that's X and XX, respectively. Now consider this: Fortune's X-Patch, in place of her lost eyes, has one X on it, and Claire still has her two X-Eyes, which means two Xs...AHEM. Sorry. Got carried away.
- Hecate's design is something I wanna elaborate on, too. It has a dog statue up top, as the dog is one of the goddess Hecate's most common symbols. There's also what looks like a tree coming from the top - a caricature attempt of a yew tree, another symbol of Hecate. As stated, though, this is far from Hecate's full power...
