Description
My second portrait based on a shot taken from Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' photoshoot. The original photograph was so beautiful and I loved the incorporation of the horns, make-up and hair styling so much so I decided to create my own version.I really wanted to spend more time on this one and push myself for self-improvement purposes and I'm glad I did, I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
I lost count of how long it took me but it was on and off for about a week after having to scrap the half-finished first attempt! Hope you guys like it

Thanks a lot! Sure, I simply lightly shade in the basic tones ranging from light to dark, and then blend them using either tissue or blending stumps. With the skin especially, try not to press on hard with the pencil as it leaves pencil marks that are hard to remove. Just layer your pencil marks to get darker tones
Also another way to create darker tones is to, instead of using harsh pencil marks on the portrait, scribble on a separate piece of paper with a softer (darker) pencil. Then just rub the tissue over it and transfer it to the actual portrait. Hope this helps
