Geldrick a former Executioner for a lord that ordered him to kill everyman ,woman and even child that was placed to his block. and he obeyed, standing guard waiting for his next victim , and it was always a happy day when his axe would sink into the flesh . if he was denied to execute someone for more then a week he would take his time and would purposefully swing softer so he would have to swing his axe a couple times before the head would come off... one day the people of the town had enough of the lord's rein of terror over them, they took his Son away and knowingly placed his son onto the executioner's block , following his orders he swung true and killed the young boy in one swing, when the lord found out he had Geldrick tortured ,burning his face and body and finally chopped off his arm , as a joke the men shoved a metal contraption to stop the bleeding and placed a bell on it, so he could ring it for them whenever they asked him to, the lord told Geldrick that he could no longer execute anyone ever again , and dared him by saying "your nothing but a bell holder now...i bet you couldn't execute anyone with one arm...go ahead..execute me...execute the whole village...hell...execute the whole world!" the lord didn't think he could , but with one hand Geldrick broke through his bounds and with one arm swing of his axe he chopped the lord's head off, with his last orders to fellow, Geldrick delighted in being free to chop off the heads of anybody that crossed his path...

after all that was his lord's last orders...and he intended to follow it through till the end.
