So this is the new version of Druzy and Kei's fusion [formerly
Purple Moonstone ] I decided to change it to a Dragon's Vein Agate because that crackled pattern across it seemed to justify Druzy being a part of the fusion but also it really fits their relationship~ I really loved Moonstone, but she was definitely in need of a tune up, and I think I accomplished that~
But let's talk about this fusion~ Deva, yes that's what she calls herself , is a jolly ole soul~ If one can brave that smile, Deva is actually far more approachable than either Kei or Druzy. She's not shy despite her awkwardness; sure she'd like to be off tinkering, but her desire to be alone is out of contentedness rather than a fear of other gems~ She's like a raspberry, sweet but just a little tart
But anyway~!! You should go check out who created a really fantastic Dragon's Vein Agate, a fusion they did just for me It's okay because that's a separate AU, but absolutely go check out Davy~!

I have to say, I love these revamps you've been doing recently. Purple Moonstone was certainly a fusion with presence and power, but it did feel like something was missing, though I couldn't place it. Deva, however, fills in any minor design flaws beautifully! Deva is still a powerful fusion, but she is also graceful and almost seems more lethal. More like a cobra than a lion, yes?
To the actual design, I really like how you've remained loyal to a very limited color pallet. The pinks and purples give off a very solid interpretation of Dragon's Vein Agate without over-complicating the texture. I love how you're branching into partial-shading, too- it really adds dimension.
Overall, these revamps are going very well! Great job on refining your characters

I'm so glad you enjoyed the redesigns I did of Kei and Druzy, they were in pretty
desperate need of some overhaul. Moonstone was a really fun fusion, and though
I loved her, you are right in that she was really missing some vigor~ Deva is a more
stable example of how I believe Kei and Druzy to be. Moonstone was more of crutch to
their flaws, where as Deva is like the Garnet to their Ruby/Sapphire.
I felt like Deva had a really overbearing personality, so I didn't want her design to be
overwhelming... Shading has almost become an accent to fusions actually haha since
that's when I seem to take the time to do it >.<
