My girlfriend and I are writing an AU WangXianYu, and it brings me so bad that I have not stopped drawing concept images of it. I just love the OT3

This AU is a canon divergence!

The self-sacrifice ritual has failed and Wei WuXian has been brought back from death as a ghost that only Mo XuanYu can see and hear. With the beginning of a friendship, both decide to go in search of the most significant remnants of Wei WuXian to complete the ritual without XuanYu having to die in the process. On the way they are interrupted by the encounter with HanGuang-Jun and the mysterious case of the corpse arm. Their main mission will be put on hiatus to deal with this mystery. After all... Repairing the ritual does not have a time limit. Or does it?

"Mmh... Your dad..." It took Wei WuXian a bit not to wince, remembering past mistakes, but accepting the obvious nonetheless. "He loved your mom very much."
It was what Jin Ling's heart desperately needed to know, to truly begin to heal.
"Really? They loved me too?” It broke their hearts to hear the child ask such a thing. "And… What about you two?”
More so, being both pointed with a doubt that shouldn't even exist in the first place.
None of this should be a doubt to Jin Ling after all this time.
Mo XuanYu was so calm hearing the conversation that such questions took him by surprise, reminding both demon cultivators why they had ended up in this kind of unconscious in the first place.
"A-Ling ..." He fought the lump in his throat threatening to make him cry once more. He had not expected such a hurtful doubt, both because of how painful it must be for the child to ask himself something like that, and how slightly angry it gave him that those doubts had been instilled in a poor creature. "Of course, of course we do. Your parents loved you so much, I love you so much. And..." He couldn't help but glance at Wei WuXian for a moment, still gently stroking his nephew's hair. "And your uncle Wei loves you too. He loves you a lot."

He did not doubt it when he witnessed the look full of affection that the man gave him, and the regret that had invaded him for words that had not even been heard by the young master Jin.

I finally finished this! My girlfriend and I love the donghua scene where WWX appears in Jin Ling's unconscious when he heals his curse mark, so we decided to add it to the AU. Jin Ling has a cute encounter with his two uncles 🤧💕

It is worth mentioning that, in this AU, Mo XuanYu arrived at the Koi tower at the age of 13, when Jin Ling was only about two months old, and was not expelled until he was 17/18. He was part of Jin Ling's upbringing and was one of his dearest relatives along with Jin GuangYao and Jiang Cheng, they both used to be very close until the rumors of his expulsion distorted the image that Jin Ling had of him.
