Description
This is a vintage-esque photo manipulation that I did for a movie poster that I am working on right now. It's going to be another "Guardian of Time" poster, this time for "The Dark," which was probably my favorite book out of all of the trilogy.Anyway, on to my references:

Arkarian is so amazing. Even though I'm a huge fan of other fantasy books like Twilight and HP, none of the lead males in those can even contend with Arkarian in terms of coolness.

I KNow! though I'm not so into Twilight because I keep finding grammatical errors and typo's and it just looks like ammature work to me. Point being there is no other character quite like Arkarian!

Yeah, I tend to be really critical of books that have typos, it happens way more often than it should, but Twilight still appeals to me, though not as much as the Guardians of Time. Pure genius.

Jake's angst is starting to bother me, he really needs to imprint and stop harassing Bella, they are so much better as friends, though Edward kinda pisses me off sometimes too.

true, I really hated the angst bella had going too. Jake is just pining after her, he needs to go find someone else, find another pack somewhere.

Jake just needs to get laid, it's really that simple, ditto for Bella, though that probably won't happen, what with her dating a vamp and all that, and the Twilight books being geared towards tweens as well as teens.

Well I sold the latest two, I wanted new books and my parents weren't going to pay, and the guy at powell's told me that there was going to be a party for the fourth book if I was interested. So there will be another book...but honestly, where's it going to go that we haven't already guessed? Beside's Jake needing to meet someone else and "getting laid" as you put it XD, Is he going to be a loner for a while and then hook up with a different pack and become alpha male? Who know's. Hey a book you might want to check out is called, ' Bone City' by Cassandra Clare. kind of dealing with mythological creature in this as well, got an interesting plot line, I personally hated the ending but that's just me. I still recommend it as a good fiction read.

Bone City? I've been searching for a new book to read, though I haven't had much spare time, what with homework and stuff like that, but I'll look into it. Though, who knows when I'll actually get a chance to go to a library.
I hope the fourth book in the Twilight series solves/puts an end to all of Jake's angst, b/c theres only so much that a reader can actually put up with, until they start hating the character.

I never feel it's too long, it's just really busy. Sometimes I just feel like being lazy and pick up and good book and turn off the electronics in my house, besides air conditioning and fridge and stuff ^ ^

Even colleges that aren't that well known are really expensive. Texas has been screwing all of their students that are going to college on scholarships, my brother went to a Texas school freshman year, and there really isn't a safe guard about grants and loans and all that when you need one. Hopefully whoever becomes president will help us out a little, because with the way things are looking I'm going to have to take off a year and just get a job and save up.

Yeah, even going in-state is expensive and then there's no ggaruntee that you will even get a good education at a state school that has over 40,000 students.
I mean, I'm glad that I found a college that is nice and offers me financial aide as well as work-study, but even then, it's still expensive.

yep. A college I was checking out in cali was $27 grand each term or year, and then there was an additional fee of $7,900 for living in the dorm, which are actually apartment buildings and you get to share an apartment with 3 other people. And your only allowed to stay in the apartments your first year, you have to find your own place after that, which I'm not going to do. So even though the classes looked awesome, I'm saying no to that one D:

Yeah, it's rediculous. I ended up visiting something a dozen colleges, applied to 7 and finally narrowed it down to the one that I'm at. The college application process is such a pain.

I wanted to take a prep class before I did the SAT But I don't think it's an option this late in the game. It'd help a whole lot more if Teachers and the student council reminded us more often.

You should swing by your local bookstore, barnes and nobles or border, and grab an SAT prep book. Sure, they are on the pricey side, maybe 20 bucks for a book that you are only going to need once in your life, but the vocab and questions in the book can often be pretty useful. Plus, it just helps to get into the mindset necessary to tackle a 6 hour exam. I am so glad that THAT is over.
