Ooh, this is a cool piece! I'll begin by complimenting your use of perspective, which is absolutely brilliant. The way the character is drawn is perfect for the "camera angle", and the way you made the clouds all curved and swirly really helps too.
The lighting/sun effect is good, and the sky is lighter at the bottom, as it should be.
I rather like the way you do fur. It's all fluffeh-looking! And the expression on the character is alright too, though I may have prefered the eyes open. (Although I know you were goin' for that relaxed, taking-in-the-moment kinda look.)
The only thing I might've changed is the grass. Overall, the grass is fine, but with the perspective, the strands should've been wider at the bottom, like they were closer to the "camera".
Anyhow, this is a great piece! I really enjoy it! Keep up the good work!

uhg skrew the summer sun.. down here it sucks.. and every things air conditions have been breaking! this is nice though. i like the light effect.
