Jeffery combs has a THING for glowing syringes, he was in this show called the 4400, great show, where his character was responsible for introducing glowing syringes to the plot, and then the whole show revolved around them.
Jeffery Combs is also voicing Ratchet in the new Transformers cartoon.

I only liked the first two seasons of the 4400, and he was also the only version of Scarecrow in the New Adventures of Batman and Robin from the 90's... it was my favorite episode.
