Messing again with the fog/mist/whatever, it didn't go very well...
I don't like the terrain
, it was supposed to be a lake

try adding more texture to the surface, see into overlay texturing, also try making " multi-layered layers" for surface, they add quite a depth and somewhat make the picture become full. ..
secondly lessen down the mist/fog effect in tg (in atmo screen, also play with colors) than bring it to front in ps (its a pain i know 
thirdly make larger terrains if you want more depth, all good tg artists rarely go under 2048...
