Heavily focused on herself and the impact she has on the world, Kuur is a usually quiet and introspective person, making her words heavy and meaningful when she deems to speak them. She is altogether too eager to take on extra responsibilities when they are offered to her, and this leads to a chronic case of workaholism.

Additionally, and perhaps the most unfortunate facet of the Canvallio heir’s personality, is that she is exceedingly awkward when it comes to her personal relationships. Despite her mastery of strictly professional conversation, she lacks the ability to correctly express her feelings to the people she cares about, with the most notable example being her disastrous relationship with her brother.

History: Born as the first child and heiress to the Canvallio merchant family, Kuur grew up knowing that she would be expected to take care of business in an orderly manner. Trained from a young age in both the way of the sword and brought up with the best tutors money could buy, she proved to be both talented and hardworking, much to the delight of her parents and the anger, jealousy, and eventual despair of her less than perfect younger brother.

These feelings eventually came to a head as a lack of understanding prompted Kuur’s younger sibling into lashing out after a sparring match, with Kuur retaliating in the way she had been trained to do, seriously injuring her brother and driving a wedge between the siblings that never fully healed.

Perhaps in response to this incident, the young heiress pushed herself deeper into both her physical and mental studies, driving herself to greater heights while simultaneously piling on more work as a form of atonement. She eventually asked about and was subsequently sent to the Military Academy, graduating with honors a few years later, only to discover that her brother had vanished without a trace.

Disturbed, but entirely unwilling to let it show in her work, she was placed in a position that the army viewed as the best fit for her talents. Years of studying how businesses and professional communication made her a great fit for one of the homeland supply divisions, despite her considerable prowess on the field of battle. As the war broke out, she was promoted and pushed to report directly to Koben, causing much relief to her family as she was not to be on the front lines unless things began to go truly badly for the Empire.

Most recently, with the sudden lack of communication from her parents in Tusa, Kuur has now taken on the additional responsibilities as the Cavallio family head. From her posting in Koben, she receives reports and updates from a family friend outside of Tusa who has stepped in as a steward for the current head. Even these bare bones reports, once stacked on top of her already formidable military responsibility, have started to encroach on what little downtime she has and have begun to take a toll on both her mental and physical health.
