I can tell that I am not the only one who can see the potential for greater accomplishments out of you. I don’t believe anyone would offer you this kind of advice if they didn’t. I am extremely impressed with what I see so far. I have known many artists some amazing individuals who were capable of incredible pieces of art. I believe you could very well be among them with a little help. I can’t help but wonder if this is the field you are considering following. Please excuse me as I am assuming you are not advanced in age. Either way I certainly hope that if you are older or younger that you are just keep practicing. Sorry for the long comment and no disrespect intended please.

Okay since you said that I will impart to you one thought. The choice is up to you of course but if you really want it ,there is a sacrifice you have to make.
Do something everyday like it’s your job ,dedicate time (even 15 minutes) the key to success is how much effort you are willing to give. That’s it ,no magic to it.
Creative ability is a huge asset no matter what field you go into, art , medical, law, hairdresser ,cook so don’t limit yourself to one thing anything is possible.
I am sure you will do very well and I am looking forward to seeing more of your artwork.
ps obviously this is just my opinion, at the end of the day it must make sense to you and you must feel like it is going well before you expect anyone’s advice including mine. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Nope, nope, I totally get what you're saying. And it does make sense. Game arts is my dream job, but trust me, I am more than willing to try out other jobs along the way. After all, the best kind of person to create good art for games is someone who has a lot of experience with other aspects of life, just in general.
And yes, I quite agree. To limit oneself to one goal is to cut yourself short... even if I can't achieve my goal anytime soon, there's a number of other occupations I would someday like to try out.

That is quite a picture you have there. Elegant composition giving a nice context - the plant - on which the bird is perched. You have managed to do so without un-neccessay clutter. ITs quite a step forward compared to your previous works and also a new subject area by the looks of it. Well done on this one 
Some books you may appreciate are 'Laws guide to drawing birds' by JM Laws, and 'Drawing and painting birds by Wootton.
