Tobor is a robot in an old sci fi movie, so I think the name may come from that. The movie is black and white, and Tobor is not that blue on the poster, so I'm not sure it makes sense...

I looked it up after reading this, an interesting find. Still don't believe it makes much sense, either. Probably just digging around for names, would not surprise me at all, hahaha. Nevertheless, I still call it 'Cyber Sub-Zero' despite the fact he does not have orange lights
