Description
So my Dad quite likes my work, as I have been showing most of my stuff to him through this site and others, and for Christmas he asked me to draw him in any style/form/manner that I wished.
This presented me with quite the dilemma:
What exactly to do?
My first iteration was to draw him as a daring space captain thwarting off Ridley Scott's Aliens...
But that didn't work out to my liking.
So I put it off until I actually saw him on Christmas Morning...
He wasn't upset once I explained to him that I didn't know what to do, and he suggested, "Draw me as a wild man."
And I says to myself I says, "Well shit. Why didn't I think of that?"
So 10 days later I churned out this little bundle of, what I consider to be, awesome.
He quite liked it and I'll have to get a Hi Resolution image to him soon.

Anyway, he chose wildman, or greenman because he is very much interested in the norse and germanic mythos of the forest dwelling wildman.
Thus his handle being DarrellGreenman.
And the name of this piece.

Not much else to say.
The anatomy was giving me grief but I seemed to have made it through okay, though that invariably leads me to never wanting to do anthing over this beautiful anatomy I've managed to get....maybe I should take some life drawing classes so it doesn't bother me so much.
I dunno....
