Description A test in Daz Studio. I wanted to see how layering a render would work. The background ^ the character are on and then placed together with a bit of noise.
It's pretty obvious that the character isn't 'there' with the background. I think it needs some work, maybe more layers. Foreground, mid, far, and distant.

You're heading in the right direction, character development and posing are down pat.
If you're going to layer images of this style I'd suggest at least leaving the ground turned
on in the actual character render. The background you can then just add as normal.

I think you've made a good start. If you don't mind a tip. When you render the character render his shadow too and make sure they meet. Trust me, it will make a huge difference.

Thank you for the tip. I'm still learning so any tricks are great.
Lighting has been a bane for me in Daz.

The best lighting tip i have ever had is don't use Daz lights. Light your scene with HDRI's and/or emissives.

Huh. I'll give that a try.
