I'll start off by clearing this up: it is not compulsory to use these outfits in your drawing! You can design your own dresses if you want, this is just a tid bit of lore. I would love however if at least the guards could all have the same uniform, but it's up to you!

The Carnival is the greatest celebration held yearly in the Oasis. Its purpose is to bring everygem together in unison, to celebrate the Oasis's greatness and that of its inhabitants. To make sure that nobody feels left out or less celebrated, tailors will provide every attendee of their preferred outfits on the models showed above.
Models are obviously not gender coded as gems don't really do that. This means you're free to put she/her using gems in pantaloons and he/him gems in a dress, for example. Whatever you feel they would like best!

Entertainers don't have to wear these costumes, as their own could be part of the performances.
If you decide to use one of these outfits, you can embellish or edit them to your liking. You can also change the highlight colors to fit your gems' better.
In the Oasis, attendees that aren't entertainers must wear the outfits depicted above. However, as I mentioned before, if you want to make your own designs in your drawings you are absolutely free to. This is lore, not meant to crush anyone's creativity but rather to give an option.
These outfits are worn for all of the seven days of the Carnival.

I know I've been taking a whilewith updating this group but with this I also want to reassure everyone that I am still working on it. The next event will take place during the carnival and the written part is all fleshed out, I just need time to get to drawing the panels, which is a bit hard to get to do with exams going on. Thank you for everyone who's stuck around and is still excited to see what happens next!
