I never really got her to look like I wanted her to, either it was too cartoony or to overbearing on the details. I think this time I struck a pleasing balanceidea is that of a counter wizard ( or blue wizard in the dnd rules i believe) specialised in blocking other magic users instead of hurling fireballs herself. thats why i decked her out in talisman, pendants and all kinds of enchanted protective jewelry. i imagine her being quite obsessed with accessoires because of that and as such gave her design elements reminding of a magpie. the roses on the inside of the cloak are a given of the fashion of the setting this character is placed in.

I love the use of the different brush textures, you know how to use them to achieve the desired effect without going overboard and using textures just for the sake of textures.
