YOOooo such a fantastic piece!! Definitely try doing more pieces omg There is a graphic novel feel to it and it has a fairy tale charm of its own! Now that I had a another look (who knows how many times I came back to this) I realized that Esther's shop may be the one on the left, and the building across from it reminds me of the first structure in your Iadlain architecture sketches. I am curious about the distant stone wall at the far left, to me it looks like streams of water are coming out of it hhhhΒ I just noticed a face in that tree and wow, so many details to pick out and enjoy!

i feel really bad answering you this late for some reason I never got to answer it. Thanks alot! It is indeed, almost all buildings are based on the pencil sketches I posted before this one. Had I just started painting right away the designs wouldve been lackluster (like they were in the first iadlain version), this way I seperated the design process and the painting step so they could be of higher quality!
the distant stone wall to the far left (behind Esthers shop?) is really just any building. I needed something for the bridge to connect with and the bridge had to be there to frame the figure in red by contrast. The water doesnt come out of it, though that is a lovely idea!
i enjoy looking at it too, one of the best pictures ive done and very popular on other websites too. I keep wanting to make more pictures in one of the settng you see in this image like on the bridge with the atros priestesses statues... or further up the stream...

Ooh so many details in mind! Yet the details in this are already incredible, there is so much more to enjoy than the ones I mentioned. Like there are even some flowers in and you still kept the spooky feel of this piece. Also, little mushrooms and glowing morels by the bridge ahhh. So good that you shared this piece to other places for more to people to enjoy, I can't wait to see what you will come up next β₯

It makes me think of the Demented side of New Sheoth from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion expansion Shivering Isles. I love that game to bits so this piece is very nostalgic and striking to me in particular, amazing work!

awesome Artstyle! Constructive criticism: Maybe work on the lighting? It is to me a bit off how the moon shine's on all of this. For a speedpaint it's good, but for a full on painting I'd like to see a bit more work if I may say state that x)

Youre right the moon should be way off the canvas to the right. For dramatic effect I put it in there still, but youre totally right.
