Description Ahsjshdjhfkjfhkdfjhfdjhdjkd - I died. I still can't believe how adorable Ichi is; he just kept licking my hand and sticking out his tongue and posing and I have a lot of pics of that too but I don't want to spam your inboxes but I really want to upload it so I might do it later if that is okay - *shot*

That's what you get from staring at this picture at 1:30 am and listening Lady Gaga and playing Plants vs. Zombies.

I'm ridiculously happy at the moment. Lady Gaga's album was leaked and I have been listening to it non stop and even though I don't feel like that is entirely that good of an idea, I can't help myself. It's Lady Gaga!

How did I go from bunnies to Lady Gaga?

While I'm typing this, I'm having a lovely discussion with about whether Man Bear Pig ''Half man, half bear and half pig!'' can walk on ceilings. I'm still having a hard time deciding if he can or can't, because Spider Pig can walk on ceilings as well... hmmm...

Yeah, I'll just shut up now. This is exactly why no one should allow me on the computer.

Β©Photograph belongs to me.

I kindly request you to not use, distribute or recreate my pics in any way without my permission.

Looks just like my bunny :0 I had to stop and compare the patterns, only difference. But colors and loppiness are the same.

Such jealous. What is the secret to bunny bonding? Mine hates being picked up ;<

It's in a bunny's nature to be scared and fidgety so don't take it personal, haha! Every bunny is unique and some simply love attention more than others. I have two bunnies that I raised in the exact same way and one of them is an attentionwhore and the other couldn't care less about me.

I think the most important thing is to pick a bunny up a lot when they're still young. That way they grow up with a human's touch. Just petting them is fine too - as long as they have enough attention, they should in the very least be comfortable around you.

Another tip is giving them treats after you pick them up, or giving them a little toy to play with afterwards so that they will expect something good and will allow you to pick them up faster. It's really important to see your bunny as a friend, not something that's just there to look cute. Like with all living things, you have to earn their trust first

Thanks for the tips! And taking the time to respond :]Β

I went out and bought him some little stick snacks, going to try that method!

He's good about letting me pet him and coming over to me and doing circles when he is out... He just hates anything to do with being held, even when it is just to take him out of his cage x(

I've always really wanted a bunny, but it's my first time owning one. He was a birthday gift from my husband and already pretty well grown up when I got him, so unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to get him used to being handled as a baby :< Might not have had a great experience with it with his previous owners... But hopefully this will change his opinion on it : )

Ooh... Well, usually adult bunnies are a bit more difficult to ''raise''... Just make sure you wear shirts with sleeves when you pick him up, they sometimes tend to scratch when you surprise them.

This may sound random, but how do you pick up your bunny? Because the way you do it might have something to do with it too. It took me a while before I realized that in my enthusiasm, I was actually freaking out my bunny. A bunny should always be petted and calmed down before you pick it up, and you should always support its bum because they have very tender, fragile spines.Β Here's a video that should help you; www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke8XCO…

This user makes other videos about bunnies and how to treat them and it's really useful!

My boyfriend actually gave me a bunny too - showed up with it at my work... Couldn't have been more happy. I think it's great that your husband got him from (what I'm assuming) a shelter, though. That's very considerate. Most of the time people want a bunny because they look cute and then they get disappointed because they have to face that they're still animals with feelings and own needs.

Ah yes...I have learned that the hard way xD ...the scratching part.

I usually kind of scoop him up from the tummy and bring him to both my arms in sort of a cradle. I'll have to practice that way though! And shall check out some of the other videos~ I tried it but he didn't seem to like his bum being touched, lol...immediately kept hopping out of it :[Β

That's awesome : ) Must have been a fun surprise, haha. And yeah, he found mine off Craigslist from a family who couldn't keep him anymore. That was how he got his ferrets as well xP He is more of a ferret guy, he is not too found of bunnies...lol. His sister has always had them growing up and he didn't seem too found of the idea of my owning one, so I was surprised : P

Aww I'm sorry >3> Didn't mean to. I was horribly heart broken when my other bunnies died, it still brings me to tears when I even think about how I held them when they were dying, but I know they lived a long, healthy life. I'm sure you took excellent care of your bunny as well.

It's okay ^^ it's been five years since I had to give him away, and I'm happy I didn't see him die ^^

Ah okay, I'm glad you didn't have to see that. I think you told me before, but why did you have to give him away?

Sadly, I didn't have time to look after him so I decided to give him to someone who had time to give him all the care and love he deserved.
