Location: Photograph taken at the 2008 Spring Bead Bonanza Show in Southfield, Michigan.
Description: These wonderfully contrasting coral beads were for sale at the show. I find the differences in texture and color between the two types really fascinating. The pink coral has been polished so its pieces are mostly smooth while the red coral looks to have been only slightly tumbled - leaving jagged edges, nooks, and crannies. I believe that both types have been dyed.
