Definately one of most interesting castle in Czech Republic, which played in many blockbusters like Van Helsing etc..Interiors are intrique, U can make reservation for special tour of castle from gothic cellars to roof trusses with expert commentary.. Higly recommended!
Noble family called Pernstejns were one of most rich and powerfull in former Czech Kingdom..

wow, this is really a beautiful castle!!!! Feels like in the middle age when I look at it..like nothing changed! Is there an interesting city around, too??

yeah, it is really.. But there is no interesting city nearby castle.. But not much further there is beatiful romanesque cloister called Porta coeli (heaven gate) with one of few most valuable portal in Czech Republic.
