Description A Re-Issue of my greatest picture... ever.
I tried to keep it to the smallest amount of watermarking possible.

Took this last summer when we went to Pittsburgh to vist to see if my brother wanted to go to Carnegie Mellon. We happened to go up one of the inclines because we had some free time and I just took this real quick... had no clue what I was doing. It was my first 'real' attemt at a panorama... never knew it would be my best... so far.

Hand stiched in Photoshop from about 6 or 7 images. About 180°
This is really my only panorama that I can not find ANYTHING wrong with... yet.

For this re-issue, I have probably fixed the last couple things I had found since I had originally posted it [Which had been before I had really finished the stiching.] I also enhanced the contrast a bit to make the colors more vibrant. Added frame. Fixed watermarking. Added text. Done.

Description from original post:
"I took this in Pittsburgh, of Pittsburgh. I think its just about 180° give or take a few degrees. I took it from the top of one of Pittsburgh's inclines, they are like a train car thing that gets pulled up really steep track by a cable. You can see one such train car thing on the very right."

Enjoy...

wow, really great panorama! The Pittsburgh skyline lends itself well to this kind of shot(s). (in response to the below comment about the bridges...it IS the "city of bridges" so not too surprising. ) Nice job splicing it together.

wow very nice. the colors are amazing. I recently did a panorama, its not easy when there's water in it. Did you do it manually? Nice work

Good that you gave me the link to this picture. I saw it yesterday and it had this typography all over. Did you resubmit it?

It's a really well done, the view is stunning. Excellent. As far as I can see there aren't any errors visible. But again one thing which I don't like: The part of a building (the greenish one) on the very right end. I would cut it off. It breaks the blue sky and adds nothing to the motif itself.

Btw. I find it remarkable how many bridges there are in this one single picture.

And some selfpromotion: Maybe you'll like this [link]

Yeah, I resubmitted just because that first one was before I really had learned photoshop all that well and didnt know what I was doing...

True about the building on the right, Ive thought many times whether or not to cut it off, but for now Ill keep it the way it is.

And about your picture, I saw that yesterday when I was browsing you gallery and it kinda remined me of my pittsburgh one because of the river, but that place is huge! Now as many bridges tho... Good capture.

Haha, self-promotion is fun... I try not to do it too much, but i couldent resist when I saw your pics...
