Enyo, the Queen of Chaos.I didn't like how her left leg was looking in the sketch, so I came up with the idea to have her holding her whip in order to cover it up. The whip is her second-form one as seen here: [link] Also, using the whip as a border allowed me to create a simple background which makes the character stand out and hides color smudges, as well as adding a small boost to the composition.
Of everything in this picture, her card took the longest...

Nice work! I really like her look, and the work you've put into the lines- they're very crisp and clean. The colouring is nice and tight, too. The whip border is a really nice touch.

Thank you! I've been working on my inking skills; I guess that's one of the main disadvantages in doing inks by hand instead of digitally; since there's not really an erase function for when they go all wobbly.

As for a character for you to draw... I think Demeter would look good in your style. [link] You seem to have a knack for ornate patterns, so I think you can make her look really awesome. I can provide "normal pose" design references if you need them.

I can draw Demeter. As for a frontal reference for Bastion I don't have one. I have only drawn him that one time, although his armor is pretty much duplicated on the right side. The part of his armor covering his "hind-quarters" is one piece and it fans out. If you have any other questions about him just ask or if you can't do it because there is too little to go from I understand. I'll find another character for you to do!

The only parts that I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out is how the belt / "codpiece" are attached to the hip armors, and how the knee joints are set up on the armor.

The cod piece is more like... well briefs and the hip armor attaches to the side. The armor with the yellow stripe in the middle is raised over the knee and thigh piece. the bottom leg piece is pretty much a solid (rigid) but movable within itself unit, if that makes sense.

Damn, this is nice. The shading is superb as is the linework. You should make a deck of playing cards.
Enyo here kind of reminds me of the villainess from the videogame Rhapsody (I think it was calle. It was a muscial RP). But more made of awesome and win (and a bit more skantly clad too). PLus I don't think Enyo would summon cupcakes.

Thanks! I had attempted to make my own card game previously with these characters (sort of a mix of Magic and the Digimon card games), but it sucked.
Perhaps I should try again?
I might have to look for that game; I always enjoy stuff that's close to my "visual aesthetic."

Thanks! For the shading, I used the technique of using colored pencils over watercolor paints, as shown here: [link] (same character too lol) I've found that this method provides the richest and smoothest color possible for traditional medium on a budget.
