AND THAT'S NOT THE SUN, DAGNABIT

Dierdre: she was my first official OC. though i realize later that the story i made up for her was pretty common with a lot of other beginning OC's, i'm always changing her style and design.

if you'd just like to know about the picture, read the bold part. Everything else is backstory.

MORE THEN YOU'D EVER PROBABLY WANT TO KNOW ABOUT DIERDRE--

Lab creation- the project started after the cold war to create a better mobile weapon. So the scientists have this brilliant idea to create an over- pysch-amped person with enough power to wipe out entire platoons. The project takes 30 years to put out 3 actual working (and one non-working) people with this power. Dierdre is thier golden girl, number 703. Her brother, without much power besides to put up a simple barrier, is 702. The jackass they fight against is 717. He's considerably more powerful.

So these infants are put with a foster family until they're 6, when they go into psychokinetic training. At that point, they're taken away from thier families and rarely see them again. Dierdre's foster family refuses to put her back into the gov'nts care, and abandon her near a town a good 300 miles away. The family all gets the chop for doing so, and 703's on her own. She lives from family to family, hiding her big ol' ears under a beach-hat (the goverment *laughs* puts those on thier expirements to keep them from becoming integrated into a public life. Also to cool them in the hot deserts) 717, the jackass, is put on the assignment to track her down and bring her in, though he fears she's better then him, so he's really just out to kill her.

So, when she's 17, she windes up in new york. After 717 runs her down with his car, Kyoto, the other main character that i'll draw a picture of, even if it kills me, takes her in, even after she warns him not to. He finds out about her ears, sends her off half-broken, she collapses in the garbage pile behind his appartment. Kyoto's mom tells him to go look for her because he was being a douchebag, he goes out to look for her. In the meantime, 717 comes to kyoto's appartment and murders his mom trying to get information out of her. Kyoto comes back shortly therafter, and is kidnapped. Long car-chase scenes ensue.

So they find out the place they're looking for is H.E.A.R.T-C. (which is the name of the story) which all stands for something, but i'm too tired to look up what, --Human Evolution and Animal Research Testing Center--- there. they find that place is in California, so they go on this lonnnng trip to get some sweet sweet revenge. 703, is completely un-trained on how to work her psychokinetic magic, besides a few parlor trick. When they come to Chicago (hurrr, how very odd they'd stop there!) Dierdre abandons Kyoto to go train in texas. After a year, she comes back, and saves his ass from certain impending doom. In the process, she shows off THIS... what this picture is illustrating.

This is a Psy-bullet: it comes from her temple in her forehead, where a black diamond has been intergrated into her body; it amplifies her energy into one powerful ass bullet-cross-thing that can decimate miles and miles of building, concrete, whatever. In this picture, she blew through an office, or appartment; It's not rock. It heats things so quickly that it melts them to one another, turns it into a sort of magma. In the distance, it's still spiraling off- it's not the sun. It is the middle of the night.

It's a terrifying thing. Kyoto, who was once at a sort of peace with her, is scared to mother-loving death of her. that obviously fades off, but not for a while, and yadda yadda yadda the story continues.

Dierdre hates what she is, but knows it's an essential part if she ever wants to exact revenge for her family, and everyone else who's been involved with this company.

So... *sweats* there, that's what this picture's about.
