12.2015 + 04.2016, traditional art: quick sketches with ballpenUPDATE: I added two more faces, for the artwork to match the other ones from this serie
Happy Winter Solstice, everyone! I wanted to submit something today, cause it is big slavic and pagan celebration. I guess it is celebrated all over the world on different names and even in a little different dates (like Christian equivalent
) So yea - everything good for everyone in next solar year! 
Today just quick traditionl sketches of one of my main OC's that I drew recently in my free whiles. They are not perfect, and the one on the right is just slightly colored in PS cause I didn't wanted them all to be B&W. I am thinking about making a serie of such quick sketches with faces of my other main OC's as well. What do You think of this idea?
OK, just as always some words about Ap.
- Apeiron is a changelion with a thist into angem side. Just like other of my main OC's he is not a material creature.
- He is deamonion hunter, peaceful warrior, guardian of The Gates and one of the Architects of the Universe.
- He is changelion of light, his weapon is power of light. Creatures like him in material world are considered to be gods. So in his case he would be the god of the light, sun or stars (that's why I wanted to submit this artwork in Solstice ^^). But basically my OCs don't think of themselves as gods. Only material worlds sees them that way, if they are able to meet them.
- Basically as You see - in his main form, he looks like a human being
But it is not his only form. I guess that's all for now

Basically he is more "slavic" type of guy. He reminds me more Thor, but yea... Haha, You got me! XD I just love men with some face features that Bucky has and yeeeees Apeiron has them as well ^^ I once compared faces of the men I really really like and... there is some kind of pattern in there, in their features
But! You got to know that Ap is muuuch more relaxed type of character than Bucky is. I wanted to show him on these sketches with more than one face expression, so I added also some "angry" faces (he is still a warrior, protector and daems hunter, so... yes, he is fighting quite a lot in the story). But he is outgoing type of guy with good sense of humour, nice and kind but assertive as well. Acher is more "Bucky" type of character. This guy with black hair, I am sure You saw him

I get you seeing Thor. I can kinda see that. But The first person that came to mind was Bucky. Don't know. xD
I should start making more characters. I bet they would all look like Sam Winchester though. xD

I want to draw sketches like these as a serie and portrait that way more of my main OCs. Now I am preparing to make concepts of them and... yea... this is one of the steps that preparing me to this

At the moment I find variety interesting, so I am creating some totally different types of characters. Sadly "handsome" means for me... all the time the same thing. I got quite classical type of understanding "what pretty / handsome", maybe not totally but yea. And I am learning to see other types of pretty/ handsome faces. Cause noooo, I don't want all of my characters to look exactly the same XO So Variety! Like Sam, Dean and Cas. They are all handsome, everyone of them in his own way. This is what I can do XD But there are some types of people said to be "handsome" that I totally don't see that way. Like Benedict Cumberbatch. He's got very handsome voice. Yes ^^

I think I have kinda been doing that too. I've been looking at different character concepts and gathering more ideas for some new characters =] I think I will create some new characters before trying to pinpoint more of how I picture my character Jake and the others. I have a few ideas for some characters, some of them are kinda Star Wars based. Maybe they won't get a story but, maybe I'll have some more ideas for full characters.
Benedict Cumberbatch is a good example. I didn't think that way to begin with but I have grown to... but it's not all thinking they are really handsome or pretty. I don't think I get caught on that too much, I think when I like characters or people its more of me seeing their personality and liking it, or connecting to them. Not so much of seeing a face and saying I like that face just because it's pretty. Or maybe that's a start and then I see the little details or things that makes them different.
I don't want all my characters to look the same. Most of the time it's really only Jason that looks like Sam... but Jason kinda looked like Sam before I watched SPN so that he might stay that way. xD

Heh. Building a good character is not simple. "One does not simply create a good character" XD So... I am like I got my main charas, I will work on them to be good, and maybe thing about somebody else, but... they can be even secondary, cause it is better to have good charas than... well... not goo ones.
Haha, Yea. Benedict thing - I had it with Tom Hiddles and Loki. Tom is not in my type. He is handsome and characteristic but not in my type. But his sense of humour, the way he plays characters... I just love this guy! He is great. Benedict... has a great voice. I cannot imagine other voice for Smaug *-*
I have the same! If You'd look at my old drawings, You'd see it. Even not this one on DA (like these:Β Apeiron Vampire and Acheron - face in here is a little too longitudinal, I always imagines it more round, well.. hair plus... I wasn't that good at drawing then // these are not that old, but crazy fast and messy: Acheron Astrid sketch 01 ) I got much more of them, just not scanned and not online (they are oooooold XD, like 15 year old) but the faces of these characters were always the same. I am just now good enough to be able to show how I always imagined it, and not I got more references than ever, or... just some funny stuff like... I was in relationships so... I know what kind of male face hair I like the most XD Or I know more about relationships, things between people, I know more psychology XD Things like that. But my main vision stays the same all the time

I don't really have any right now. I have some ideas for some SW based characters. For inspiration I don't really know. I kinda just have this image in my head of a character. He's blonde with green eyes... kinda a Han Solo attitude. I see him with a green lightsaber. Β (Maybe he's part of a different character idea I had this week. This other idea I had was a guy has everything going for him, good parents, good friends, good girlfriend, good job, and he leaves, because he has everything anyone could really want but he's hollow. Kinda like play by the rules and things will be good. Maybe when he leaves to find himself he's the idea I had for the SW guy and it's the Force calling him. On his adventure he meets and finds new friends and family that are more that he could want.)
And I kinda have an idea for a female Sith. I see her being kinda sexy/seductive, but an actress being able to blend with the crowd playing both sides, so maybe not all Sith. ( I said I don't like when people keep playing both sides but, there's always an exception.) I have some ideas for how she would look too... so... I have some ideas for characters but not really a story right now.
I don't know about my type. I think it's more of just how I like the person. Or how I grow to like the person... It's still so hard to properly explain. Last weekend me and my family saw Terminator Genisys and me and my sister couldn't get over how we loved Arnold Schwarzenegger's terminator "Pops". He was an old Terminator in this movie, and everything about this version of him we loved. You could see the age in him, maybe that's way I was really loving the old Han Solo that much more in the new SW. It's not like an attracting love or a romantic way or anything, it's like a puppy dog, an unexplainable cuteness that I can't get enough of. I think right now this is like anyone I have liked. -----I don't know if any of that actually made sense... or if I've tried explaining this before...
It's always kinda funny looking at old versions of our characters. Seeing how we got better at drawing and how they have changed. xDΒ

Yea - cute character (even if its Pops ^^) is always a good thing. And Yes - BB-8 is one of the best things in SW VII, Maybe a little too human, but... I am ok with that

I'm still not sure about the story, I like the characters I have pictured, but I don't know if I could pull off writing it, like if I have enough lore or experience for a fanfic... I didn't get far with my SPN one. xD
I can see that. There isn't two different Forces it's how the individual decides on using it. It's like art, it's subjective. It can be whatever someone whats.
