I wasn't involved in this at first, but the person assigned for this movie got cold feet, so they asked me if I'd like to do it instead.
Would I!
This is one of my all-time favorite movies, and one of Disney's most woefully undervalued classics. No sooner had I gotten wind of this competition than I snatched up a pencil and paper, blew the dust off Photoshop, and took a joyride into town. I even played the soundtrack (several times) to set the mood.
It also helped that I have this week free from work.
This was such a thrill to draw, but dang, those bells almost gave me a heart attack.
I was soooooooo tempted to cut and paste a copy of a screenshot. I know they don't look perfect but heaven knows I tried. The only thing I did cheat on was the light rays, because this was the only way I could get a convincing enough effect. So, here you go, mates!
