This is a Mew plushie that I made a few days ago...I just haven't had a chance to post it because I spent some of my spring break visiting my Oma.Mew is life sized (1'4") with a tail that is about 32 inches long. The tail has wire in it so you can bend it into fun shapes! Mew's legs have joints so that you can pose him (sitting, standing...)
He is made out of anti-pill fleece, felt, polyester fiberfill, wire, and a bit of paint (the eyebrows). I designed the pattern, and can make duplicates if anyone would like to buy one. ~

If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the body? [like, only the body the torso I suppose] I'm trying to make a plushie for my friend and I can't find any good patterns/tutorials or anything for a body like this.. :c

I used plastic doll joints, which you can buy from practically any craft store. It's a bit hard to explain without a visual aid, but, they are really quite easy to do. There are multiple tutorials available online, such as: [link] (Look at the section titled: "Assembling joints")

well, you have to take into account the amount of time it takes to make it, the fabric cost, the complexity of the pattern, the size of the plushie and a few other things. It seems expensive, but handmade things normally are.
