After retrieving a very old and important relic for the King of Gauntlegrym our heroes return home with one less. The King's wizard who joined them died in the underdark, and his best friend, a greydwarf called Whenos is broken. His only friend lost forever. The misery doesn't end there however, because Whenos finds his home vandalized. This upsets Gaeril, a halfelf from a elven community who experienced being the odd one out himself.

Gaeril returns to his room, and he doesn't join the others for dinner so Alusys who worries for him, and reads him pretty well, decides to go check on him.
