I'm guessing with the Leader class version, we saw the last Bayverse Ironhide figure we will get. While I still gotta keep my customized Voyager IH to go with my Leader Optimus, Voyager Ratchet, and deluxe cars, the Leader only went well with a few Human Alliance figs, so I sold it.In the end, this deluxe ironhide I painted up last night is my favorite version of him because of the amount of accurate details and his closer to accurate proportions. Whats with the long legged Ironhides??
I used several movie screens and post movie release CGI shots to get his paint job as accurate as I could and gave him the left arm cannon from my daughter's broken kiddy version of him.

before i ever saw this screenshot I was convinced that while in robot mode Ironhide's cannons ALWAYS were deployed and on his arms.

this is my favrorite out of your intire collection.

i've only started my collection with DOTM figures and im collecting some of the previous movie figures via ebay.
Ironhide is my favorite charactor and the one thing i dislike about all the figures i do have. THEM SKINNY LONG LEGS! lol.

Glad you know what I mean about this guy then. Yep, he still transforms perfectly. Truck mode looks the same as out of the box though so I didn't bother with pics. The new arm cannon is bonded to the bottom connection from the old turret gun thing he had, so it can come out for truck mode.

Thanks man!! I don't remember the name of the more simplified kid versions of the movie bots from 07, but that's what the cannon came off of. Not that i just pulled it off though. It was part of the arm so I had to cut it off, cut deluxe Ironhide's auto-turret in half, and sculpt the 2 together.

im totally new to the customize world when it comes to figures.
so would it be okay if from time to time i do message you if i have a question on how id be able to get something to work.
i have a few i want to custome a bit, mainly paint jobs.
and mostly all the figures are the twins, from both rotf(incl icecream truck) and dotm.
the dotm could be difficult. they never released pictures of the twins or had them in the movie. damn them having to get the axe. but i truely cant leave them out.

Let me tell you the greatest way for a beginner who doesn't want to buy lots of paints and tools to greatly improve their movie transformers. Just but a small jar of Tamiya gunmetal. You can get it on Ebay for around $5 shipped usually. Then get a small tip paint brush. Its acrylic so if you mess up it wipes off if you are quick, its very sturdy when dry, and its the best for breaking up plain colored plastic. You just need to take your time and follow a trustworthy reference pic or 2.
Maybe I'll do a tutorial for that soon.

i actually already been told it, after getting the idea to custom them.
i went to the hobby store in town where they sell all those small warhammer things?
but yeah, they pretty much helped me with the paint stuff. that jar perticular they pointed out many times. unfortunately i spent $15 on the jar i got.
i think for future i will be using ebay.
that would be totally awesome if you did a tutorial.
