FFDP is meh, I've "grown up" in my metal tastes....more power metal and stuff like blind guardian.

FFDP is a band which made an awesome cover of the song Bad Company.
For some reason I usually prefer the covers D:
Like, Dope's cover of Rebel Yell, and Killswitch Engage's cover of Holy Diver.

A modern roleplay I had with a friend was the inspiration. War in Iraq and all that. I really enjoyed it!

I want her on my side! :'O She looks so badass!

Amazing how she gets all this confidence(or at least seems to) I don't think I could ever look so cool. ;; Why so awesome, Tanya? :'D

Not me either. I guess it is because she joined the army. Modern-rp yay! 8D

I sthat paint-style from a texture? Or a brush? Or selfmade? BEcause it rocks and adds a lot to the pic.

I worked with hard edge brushes, and some custom brushes here and there. Then I added the texture (Which I found with google search). Here's the picture without the texture I added: [link]

Nice job at drawing an AR-type rifle, though you forgot the front sight post, no biggie though, still pretty accurate, and of course cool that you know how to draw wimminz

Hahahhaha, tell me to draw any type of weapon and I instantly screw it up.
This is how I think about the situation: "Well, at least you can see it is meant to be a rifle" XD

Oh lol, wimminz.

no, for a cartoon weapon that's not all that bad, seriously, about as good as they draw weapons on Family Guy and the like, so fuckit, you're fine

Hey, she could just be using a flat top receiver and removed the sight post just for a scope (which she hasn't attached yet)

linoleumknife21 In reply to Exotice1911 [2011-02-28 01:24:32 +0000 UTC]

true, but on an AR receiver that's such a pain in the ass to do it's never worth it, plus you always want a backup iron sight in case your sights fail, get shot off, break, etc.

Also, on a few different AR upper receivers use the front sight post to secure the gas tube in place, so it CAN'T be removed. For Example, the Colt model that I have been issued.

True, but every once in a while someone goes out of their way to get an AR, or an upper kit, that doesn't have an iron sight at all. I've ran across a few Bushmasters that way, my guess is that they were probably meant to appeal to anyone wanting to use an AR for hunting small game. I myself see a dire need to always keep a ghost ring iron should a scope somehow find itself damaged. Though, I personally prefer an open top reminiscent of the .22 I grew up shooting.

Now that I think about it.....it could almost pass for a representation of an SBR variant of a Saiga 12....semi-automatic Russian shotgun. Very awesome weapon that's quite a pain to acquire just about anywhere in the states.

This is pretty awesome. I love the attitude you've given her pose.

I think maybe her right forearm is a little thin, but my monitor's pretty dark so that could just be shadow.

I don't know, I'm not an anatomy expert. XD You could be right, though. So many mistakes. x_X

Thank you!

I had a closer look, turned up the brightness all the way up using the settings on my graphics card software, and it was just me. Her arm's fine.

You're welcome!
