Thank you so much! It took me forever to find a good, traditional mane tutorial. I love how clear you make it and the final effect is gorgeous. Again, thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to do a tutorial for all of the traditional equine artists on here.

I guess it just depends on the quality of your scanner. What model scanner do you have?
Another thing that might help you out is scanning at a higher resolution, like 200 dpi. If you are only scanning at 100 dpi, your scanner will omit a lot of information that ultimately makes your image a lot crisper.
